چکیده
In this paper we discuss the interplay among (super-)coordinate, Weyl and Lorentz anomaly both in chiral and non-chiral super-gravity represented by (1, 0) and (1, 1) two-dimensional models. It is shown that for this purpose two regu-larization dependent parameters are needed in the effective action. We discuss in full generality the regularization ambiguities of the induced effective action and recover the corresponding general form of the anomalous Ward Identities. Finally, we explain the difference between chiral and non-chiral super-gravity models in terms of the free parameters and establish relation between these two models by projecting (1, 1) into (1, 0) super-symmetry.

A diffeomorphism anomaly in every dimension
Field-theoretic pure gravitational anomalies only exist in 4k+2 dimensions. However, canonical quantization of non-field-theoretic systems may give rise to diffeomorphism anomalies in any number of dimensions. I present a simple example, where a higher-dimensional generalization of the Virasoro algebra arises upon quantization. The Polyakov action in string theory is nothing but 1+1-dimensional...
متن کاملSpherically Symmetric Solutions in a New Braneworld Massive Gravity Theory
In this paper, a combination of the braneworld scenario and covariant de Rham-Gabadadze-Tolley (dRGT) massive Gravity theory is proposed. In this setup, the five-dimensional bulk graviton is considered to be massive. The five dimensional nonlinear ghost-free massive gravity theory affects the 3-brane dynamics and the gravitational potential on the brane. Following the solutions with spherical s...
متن کاملMulti - exponential models of (1+1)-dimensional dilaton gravity and Toda - Liouville integrable models
The general properties of a class of two-dimensional dilaton gravity (DG) theories with multiexponential potentials are studied and a subclass of these theories, in which the equations of motion reduce to Toda and Liouville equations, is treated in detail. A combination of parameters of the equations should satisfy a certain constraint that is identified and solved for the general multi-exponen...

We study the structure of asymptotic symmetries in N = 1 + 1 supersymmetric extension of three-dimensional gravity with torsion. Using a natural generalization of the bosonic anti-de Sitter asymptotic conditions, we show that the asymptotic Poisson bracket algebra of the canonical generators has the form of two independent super-Virasoro algebras with different central charges.
متن کاملGravitational and Schwinger model anomalies : how far can the analogy go ?
We describe the most general treatment of all anomalies both for chiral and massless Dirac fermions, in two-dimensional gravity. It is shown that for this purpose two regularization dependent parameters are present in the effective action. Analogy to the Schwinger model is displayed corresponding to a specific choice of the second parameter, thus showing that the gravitational model contains an...
